Microsoft has released Microsoft Office 2011 14.2.2 and Office 2008 12.3.3, both of which fix “extremely important issues” and improve overall security. In particular, the updates patch vulnerabilities that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer’s memory with malicious code.
